No, I didn’t read Adult Braces this month. Yes, I’m aware of the discourse. In fact, I know more about the discourse than you do. Yes, definitely. As much as Lindy West and her family want us to know they’ve been hurt by the discourse, other people have been hurt too, and these people aren’t famous. These people are regular, good-hearted people who have to get on the internet every day and be retraumatized by people who frankly don’t deserve your defense.

I’m not saying anything else about this particular discourse because I cannot. But I will share my experience reading and following Lindy West.
